Brasilia - SANA
Syrian Embassy in Brazil and a number of the Syrian community’s members participated in a charity fair for the accredited embassies in Brazil.
The Syrian participation in the event included an artistic cultural section on the Syrian folkloric songs and dances.
The Syrian pavilion at the exhibition embraced traditional products and industries and mosaic paintings, in addition to various Syrian folkloric desserts and meals.
In a statement to SANA, one of the participants in the fair Amira al-Shariti said that the Syrian pavilion witnessed a huge turnout by visitors of the fair in which more than 30 embassies are participating.
Al-Shariti considered that Syria’s participation in all activities in Brazil is an opportunity to introduce the Syrian culture and history, underlining the importance of the role of expatriate Syrian women in enhancing ties between expatriates and their homeland.
The exhibition was attended by Syrian Ambassador to Brazil Mohammad Khafif.
