International Arab Youth

The 36th International Arab Youth Congress kicks off Wednesday under the theme “21st Century Skills for a Culture of Peace and Prosperity” with the participation of youth from 14 Arab and other world countries.
Sponsored by Her Majesty Queen Noor al-Hussein, the conference is set to include dialogues on the importance of focusing on critical thinking, cooperation, communication, creativity and best practices in community services.
Participants in the seven-day gathering will be hosted by Jordanian families with whom they will spend a whole day to learn about Jordanian customs and traditions.
The conference is organized by the National Center for Culture and Arts (NCCA) of the King Hussein Foundation in cooperation with the United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) in Amman, Education Ministry and the USAID Civic Initiatives Support Program.
