Hundreds of people have today flocked to Saar to attend the Horse Show Festival, which was organized at AlQassim Stables Track.
The Northern Governorate held the event as part of The Kingdom of Bahrain's celebrations of its National Days on December 16 and 17, marking the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 43rd Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 15th Anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's Accession to the Throne.
Eighteen riders were in the fray as part of the festival which was held as part of a string of celebratory festivities under the inspiring theme "We Are All Partners in Love of Bahrain".
Northern Governor Ali bin Al-Sheikh Abdulhussain Al-Asfoor, Mps and municipal councilors and heritage savvies attended the festival which concluded the national festivities lined up for 2014.
Farid Madan won the cowboy category, followed by Fadhel Al-Mahasna, Saad Mubarak and Mohammed Al-Tamimi respectively.
In the Arab Dress Category, Saad Mubarak ranked first, followed respectively by Aqeel Abdulla, Abbas Al-Mahasna, and Farid Madan. They were all presented with commemorative gifts and cash prizes.
Gulf Petrochemicals Industries Company (GPIC) also presented a cash aid assistance to Bahrain Society for Sickle Cell Anaemia Patients Chairman Zakaria Ibrahim Al-Kadhim
