Egypt took part in the 21st edition of the Festival of World Sacred Music in Morocco's Fas, scheduled to be concluded Saturday.

An Egyptian band takes part in the festival with the "Al Sira al-Hilaliyya" (Bani Hilal Biography).

Al Sira al-Hilaliyya is still sung by a few poets in Upper Egypt. It is one of great beauty, and the last evocation of this ancient nomadic world, so violent and passionate.
