Sheikh Ali Jarrah al-Sabah

Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah opened Friday Kuwait's Fifth Heritage Festival, held under auspices of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Speaking to reporters after the inauguration, Sheikh Ali said the patronage of His Highness the Amir reflected his keenness to see Kuwaiti and Gulf people revive their heritage.
He said the Heritage Festival has a different taste this year because it was held in Sabah Al-Ahmad Traditional Village next the Salmi Highway.
Amiri Diwan Advisor Mohammad Dhaifallah Sharar said in a statement to KUNA the support of His Highness the Amir to the Traditional Village would make it a gathering for traditional lovers, Kuwaiti and Gulf families.
"It will be a great chance to get acquainted with traditions of other Gulf countries," he said.
The Heritage Festival features participation of 5,600 people competing in the beauty and production of camels, sheep and falcons, as well as camel and falcon races.
