Oman has marked the World Heritage Day (WHD) by raising awareness towards the importance of the human cultural heritage and redoubling efforts to protect and preserve the cultural heritage.
Themed "Cultural Heritage and Sustainable Tourism" the celebration took place on Tuesday in line with the United Nations International Year for Sustainable Tourism, and within the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Sustainable Development Goals, according to Oman News Agency (ONA).
