Clashes between pro-Morsi protesters and police outside the security directorate in Fayoum left 28 protesters and one police officer injured on Friday afternoon, Al-Jazeera reported, quoting local police. The Egyptian Health Ministry said most injuries were from teargas inhalation and bumps and bruises, although there were reports of birdshot injuries, according to Al-Jazeera.
