Boeing announced Tuesday that Korean Air had agreed to buy five 747-8 jumbo jets and six 777 planes in a deal worth some $3.6 billion (2.7 billion euros) at list prices, adding to an already strong order book at the Paris Air Show. The US aviation giant said the agreement was not a firm order, adding it would work with the South Korean airline to finalise the deal.
