Some 275 commodities, including foodstuffs and other essential items, will be available to consumers at reduced prices from tomorrow as part of the government’s annual initiative to help residents during the holy month of Ramadan. The Consumer Protection Department at the Ministry of Business and Trade has released a list of 275 commodities that will be sold at reduced prices during the Ramadan at all stores in the country. It has also been decided to import as many as 300,000 sheep from Jordan and Saudi Arabia especially for Ramadan.
