The Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) was instrumental in finding jobs for 300 Saudi youths in the health sector. A number of hospitals, polyclinics and specialist health clinics in the city came forward to employ Saudi young men in various health specialties, it was announced at a ceremony held at the JCCI headquarters on Tuesday. The new employment generation program, the first of its kind by the chamber, was launched in cooperation with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) and the chamber’s human resources development center and health services committee. The ceremony was attended by Abid bin Abdullah Aqad, director of the Saudization and employment department at JCCI, Nasser bin Abdullah Al-Zahem, deputy chairman of health services at JCCI, and several officials. Speaking on the occasion, Al-Zahem said the program aims to find jobs for qualified young Saudi men and women in the vital health sector in cooperation with the private sector.
