Forty-seven ships transited the Suez Canal on Sunday, with a total cargo of three million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 24 vessels carrying around two million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 23 ships carrying about one million tons, according to statistics of the Suez Canal Authority.
