Algerian air navigation authorities have lost contact with an Algerian passenger plane shortly after taking off from Burkino Faso.
The Algerian air company said, in a statement on Thursday, that contacts with the plane, with 110 passengers on board, were lost 50 minutes after take-off from the airport in the African country.
Authorities are trying to locate the missing 320-Airbus aircraft.
