The Monitoring Committee of the National Economic and Social Growth Pact discussed since its setting up in March, several "priority" issues related to the development of the company, investment and social climate encouragement, Minister of Industry and Mines, Abdessalem Bouchouareb said Thursday.
The committee, which held a dozen sessions and examined five (5) main lines set in the Pact, considered "priority" because of their direct impact on the activity of the company, said the minister at the 17th tripartite meeting (government-union-employers).
These main lines pertain to the business climate, access to economic land and primarily to industrial land, credits, public order, in addition to the social climate and improved working conditions, he said, emphasizing the "strong correlation" between the contents of the pact and the broad guidelines of the government agenda.
In terms of improving the business climate, Bouchouareb said several measures have been taken by the government, in order to simplify procedures, reduce time and reduce the costs associated with the act of investing.
These measures are based on indicators of entrepreneurship, construction permits, connection to electricity grids, transfer of property, credits, investors protection, taxes payment, across borders trade, enforcement of contracts and resolution of insolvency, he announced.
