Public Works' minister Ghazi Aridi, sounded unhappy with the present state of confusion surrounding private companies' non-observance of transport tariffs decided by his ministry. Aridi and, in an interview on al-Fajr radio station today, blamed private transportation companies for the present state of confusion saying they were in pure and simple terms clear violations of his instructions. He defended full ministry right in fixing transport tariffs and warned against drivers eventually finding themselves at pains as a result of such violations. He agreed with Hizbullah chief Hassan Nasrullah's contention not to credit March 14 with any inspiring of the Arab Spring. The minister and, with reference to the actual cabinet crisis, dismissed likely resumption of dialogue with no major decisions ever likely to be taken under unfavorable circumstances. Aridi acknowledged that with the present state of "heavy hearts best by grudges" it seems rather impossible to convene the Council of Ministers in a meaningful session.
