Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Song Aiguo said the investment volume between his country and Egypt hit 10 billion dollars in 2013. speaking in a joint press conference with the Egyptian tourism minister in Hurghada, he said the two-way investment will grow as China lifted its travel warning for travel to Egypt in December. He said 3,000 Chinese tourists visited Egypt last month. Earlier this year, Aiguo has said the trade exchange between Egypt and China hit 9.2 billion dollars in 2013, about a 10-percent rise comparing to a year earlier.
