Egyptian Investment Minister Yehia Hamed has met with parliamentary ministers and officials to discuss new laws aimed at improvement the climate for new investment in the country. Legal advisors specializing in investment cases have called for amendments to existing laws and bills in Egypt. Hamed’s ministry has already proposed three amendments to laws focusing on collaterals, investment incentives and tenders and bids. Egyptians officials are keen to attract foreign investors amid an ongoing economic crisis.
