Supply and Internal Trade Minister Khaled Hanafi said ration supplies released under the new system have been available in most areas in Cairo Alexandria and Upper and Lower Egypt as of Sunday.
The minister further said more ration supplies will be released in rest of the areas today and tomorrow.
He, meanwhile, said that the subsidy of ration supplies was increased by 50 percent during Ramadan.
