Remittances sent by Egyptian expatriates are the fifth highest in the world, deputy chairman of the general union of Egyptians abroad Mohamed Rayan has said.
Egyptian remittances have risen from $9.5 billion to $22 billion last year, Rayan said addressing an economic conference in Cairo.
Nearly 10 million Egyptians are working abroad.
