Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi today received a phone call from Tanzanian President John Magufuli.

Egyptian Presidency Official Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radhi said that the Tanzanian president hailed historic relations linking the two countries.

President Magufulli lauded bilateral relations, stressing particularly joint economic cooperation and trade exchanges between Egypt and Tanzania. He also valued the Egyptian investment projects in Tanzania.

President al-Sisi said that Egypt is looking forward to bolstering bilateral relations with Tanzania in all fields.
