Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab chaired a ministerial meeting Saturday to discuss a plan for holding an international conference on investment in Egypt.
The meeting took up Arab and foreign investment opportunities to help boost the Egyptian economy after three years of turmoil.
During the discussion, Mahlab highlighted the importance of preparation for the proposed conference to maximize the benefits.
Also, he took a decision to form a committee to develop the vision of the conference.
The committee will comprise ministers of international cooperation, investments, industry, investment, petroleum and foreign affairs.
The concerned ministers will convene next week to set a concept for the planned conference.
