The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) sent an aid convoy laden with food items, blankets and potable water to the Gaza Strip.
The aid, which was donated by members of the Lower House of Parliament, was sent under the supervision of Chairman of the JHCO HRH Prince Rashed Bin Al Hassan.
His Highness said that the aid, which was dispatched upon the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, is a clear message about Jordan's stance to support the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, noting that the organization will continue sending aid and receiving donations for the Palestinians in the blockaded enclave.
Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament Atef Tarawneh praised efforts of the organization to provide support to Gaza under Royal directives.
