The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) on Sunday sent a new aid convoy to the Israeli-besieged Gaza Strip.
JHCO spokesman Mohammad Al-Kilani said that today's convoy which comprised 9 trucks laden with flour, was sent in response to a UN call to meet the scarcity of this commodity in the coastal enclave.
Kilani added that the organization also dispatched on Saturday an 8-truck convoy laden with medical aid, clothes, water, torches and lanterns donated by Jordan charity organizations , private companies , trade unions and the International Transport Workers' Federation.
The aid will be delivered to the Jordan field military hospital "Gaza 31" to be distributed to the people in Gaza.
Kilani called on Arab and international donors to shoulder their responsibilities towards the people in the besieged enclave.
