Israeli military jets dropped flares over the Lebanese territorial waters off the southern city of Tyre on Monday, the official news agency reported. It added that the Israeli jets dropped a total of four flares off Tyre and other southern areas. Israeli airplanes have been violating the Lebanese airspace systematically in blatant breach of UN Security Council resolutions, namely resolution 1701 of 2006. (end)
