The Sudanese government has allocated to the Jordanian government 168,000 dunums for agricultural investment, Agriculture Minister Akef Zu’bu said. During a meeting with journalists at the National Center for Agricultural Research and Guidance on Tuesday, the minister noted that the private sector had voiced its willingness to manage the project. He added that the process of implementation will start soon, especially now that the Joint Jordanian-Sudanese Agricultural Committee has given the Jordanian government the green light to invest in these lands.
