Libya and the United States signed Wednesday a framework agreement regulating trade and investment between both countries. The agreement was signed by Libyan Economy Minister Mustafa Abu Fanas and the US Ambassador to Libya. The agreement emphasizes desire of both countries to promote trade exchange, Abu Fanas said. Under the agreement, a new Libyan-US council for Trade and Investment will be formed to set a stage before US investment in Libya, he added.
