Morocco s trade deficit

 Morocco’s trade deficit came in at 131.1 billion dirhams in the first eight months of 2014, a drop of 3.1 percent compared to 135.3 billion dirhams in the same period in 2013, the Exchange Office said.
Exports rose 1.8 percent to 262.79 billion dirhams, while imports edged up 7.1 percent to 131.72 billion dirhams, the Rabat-based Exchange Office said in a statement.
Morocco’s exports of automobiles, electronics and textile-leather rose by 32.6 percent, 26.3 percent and 3 percent respectively, while its imports of foodstuff, crude products and finished consumer goods grew by 15.8 percent, 9.4 percent and 7.5 percent respectively, the same source added.
