Petroleum Minister Tareq Mulla discussed on Friday with ENGIE CEO Philip Olivier the activities of the French multinational company in Egypt, especially in the filed of liquefied natural gas.
Mulla pointed out to the deep and distinguished relations between Egypt and France.
Friday's meeting tackled an agreement, which was signed during French president's last year visit to Egypt, to supply shipments of liquefied natural gas, a statement by the Petroleum Ministry indicated.
ENGIE CEO, meanwhile, highlighted the competitive advantages of Egypt's oil industry in light of the promising opportunities and the government's continued efforts to provide a business-friendly climate.
