Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr said foreign direct investments hit 8.7 billion dollars this year.
The bourse's main index upped by 70 percent, she noted in a TV interview late Wednesday.
She said the World Bank and international finance institutions lauded the great progress realized in several files, including good governance and transparency, in addition to an improvement in the business environment.
