The governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) launched an initiative to eliminate the dealings of dollar on the black market.
As for the economic situation, Ramez said the CBE has managed to maintain the banking sector over the past three years, the most difficult periods in Egypt's history.
The maximum wage was applied on all banks in July, he stressed.
"The leaders of the public sector banks respect and comply with the law on maximum wage," he said.
