The Prefect of Adrar, Madani Abderrahmane Fouatih, presented Thursday the result and the prospects for the local development.
The assessment meeting held in the Interior Ministry as part of a series of meetings with the prefects was attended by the general secretary of the ministry and executives from the province of Adrar (1543km south of Algiers).
In a statement to the press, Fouatih said the meeting of "consultation" between the central and local administration "enabled us to share exchange views and to have a clearer vision for local development."
"It allowed us to submit an assessment and receive in return some orientations to review the measures, methodology and approach in terms of local development," he said.
He said that the province of Adrar, "with its capacities and specificities" benefited from "many" investment project supervised by the State.
"We will continue to take into account the preoccupations of the population, namely the facilitation of citizens’ living conditions and notably the and the improvement of the relation between the administration and the citizens," concluded the prefect.
