President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued on Thursday a decree to establish an Agricultural Solidarity Fund against the risks and natural disasters.
Another decree was issued to add farmers and workers in the agriculture-related businesses to the state-funded health insurance plan.
The solidarity fund is part of the government's plan to achieve sustainable agricultural development and maintain the level of agricultural income to the beneficiaries nationwide.
