The Ministry of Economy and Finance signed an agreement yesterday with the Irish government for the avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion related to income taxes between the two countries. In a statement issued yesterday, the ministry said that the agreement, aimed at extending co-operation in all fields related to supporting economic, investment and fiscal exchange between Qatar and Ireland. It was signed by the Director of Public Revenues and Taxes Department at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Muftah Jassim al-Muftah, and Irish Ambassador to Qatar Ciaran Madden.
