Several bills including that on advertising and polls will be promulgated soon to regulate the communication sector in Algeria, Minister Hamid Grine said Saturday in Algiers.
Besides the bill on advertising and polls, Grine, speaking to the National Radio Channel 3, mentioned the bill establishing the status of the journalist which is being finalized, the bill on the body responsible for the justification and dissemination (finalized) and the draft decree setting the procedures for authorizing the import of foreign publications (being finalized).
The minister also mentioned the draft decree establishing the conditions of printing and publications owned by the foreign companies (being finalized), the draft decree establishing the method of suggestion on public service in the audiovisual activity (being finalized) and the draft executive decree on the conditions and procedures o reviewing the Communication Council activity (finalized).
Focusing on the bill on advertising and polls, he said he will be submitted to "observation and enrichment by professionals," adding that the bill will be tabled to the government in December 2014.
