A third delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will visit Egypt in early January to continue talks with Finance Ministry experts on the value added tax (VAT) bill. The delegation will be in Cairo at the end of the first week of January, an official source at the Finance Ministry said Sunday. An initial blueprint is expected to be prepared on January 24 before being discussed thoroughly and submitted for public debate, the source said. An IMF delegation, comprising two legal experts, has left Cairo on Thursday.
