Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Qabil praised Thursday Egyptian-Iraqi trade relations, describing them as excellent.
This came in a meeting between the minister and his Iraqi Counterpart Salman Al Jumaili, on the sidelines of the Arab League's economic and social council meetings at the ministerial levels in Cairo.
Qabil pointed out to the large number of exhibitions for Egyptian products in various areas in Iraq, adding that there are plans for establishing exhibitions in the capital Baghdad.
He underlined that a crossing between Iraq and Jordan will be inaugurated later this month, which will boost the trade volume between Egypt and Iraq.
