President Abdel Fattah El Sisi stressed on Wednesday that setting up a water desalination plant to serve North Sinai residents is now underway.
The State supports all development efforts in Sinai, especially in North Sinai, said Sisi at a conference at the Army's Galaa Theatre in Cairo where a number of ministers and governors briefed him on the latest in efforts to restore looted state lands.
The conference was attended by Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, Defense Minister Sedki Sobhi, Interior Minister Magdi Abdel Ghaffar and a host of ministers.
