Cairo - MENA
Egyptian agro-exports upped 25 percent this season in comparison with 2016, thus signalling the good reputation of Egyptian crops.
Egyptian Agriculture Minister Abdel Moneim el Banna made the remark during a meeting on Tuesday with representatives from the Egyptian Businessmen Exporters Association.
Banna said the ministry is keen on augmenting agricultural exports to increase national income.
He noted that a delegation from the Ministries of Agriculture and Trade will travel to a number of Arab states to probe some problems pertaining to exportation processes and means of facilitating the agricultural and horticultural crops flow.
The delegation will sign needed agreements in this regard, he said, noting that this would contribute to increasing exports.
