Minister of Finance Amr el Garhy left here on Tuesday heading to Paris to attend the joint annual meetings between the European Union and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development OECD on boosting economic governance.
The ministry said in a statement that Garhy is expected to meet with a number of French investors in industrial and financial services sectors to inform them about the economic situation in Egypt.
The minister will also brief the French investors on the latest developments in the government's economic reform program and legislation, policies and decisions approved by the Parliament and government to support the program, in addition to enhancing the investment climate in Egypt, according to the statement.
The statement underlined that the minister will meet with Director of the Center for Tax Policy and Administration at the OECD Pascal Saint-Amans to discuss ways of boosting bilateral relations between both sides, as well as developing the technical support program, especially in terms of economic governance.
