Tunisian Prime Minister Youssef Chahed reviewed means of promoting Tunisian-Arab cooperation on tourist investment projects during a meeting Wednesday with a delegation from the Arab Tourism Organization.
In statements after the meeting, Tunisian Tourism Minister Selma Elloumi said the meeting comes on the occasion of holding the Arab forum on tourism investment in Tunisia for the first time.
The forum, to kick off Thursday under the supervision of the Cabinet, will be attended by 78 Arab investors in the tourism field.
Meanwhile, president of the Arab Tourism Organization Bandar bin Fahad al Fehaid said the meeting tackled the advantages of inter-Arab cooperation in the tourism investment projects, developing training and marketing programs as well as tourism's role in fostering this cooperation.
Fehaid also praised safety and stability in Tunisia, saying this will in turn back Arab investments in the country, topped by tourism projects.
