The 28th edition of the International Middle East and Africa Electricity and Energy Exhibition (Electricx 2018) kicked off Saturday at Egypt's International Exhibition Centre with the participation of more than 20 countries from Africa, Europe, Middle East and Asia.
Deputy Electricity Minister Osama Assran opened the three-day exhibition which comes in conjunction with the Solar-Tech Exhibition and the Middle East Fire, Security and Safety Exhibition and Conference, attended by a number of the ministry's officials.
This year's edition of Electricx is held under the auspices of Minister of Electricity Mohamed Shaker.
The exhibition groups more than 300 exhibitors with over 10,000 visitors expected.
