Secretary General of the Lower House, Firas Adwan, and UNDP Jordan Country Director Sara Ferrer Olivella, Wednesday, signed a memorandum of understanding to boost cooperation between the two sides.

Under the memo, a cooperation framework will be provided to enhance transparency and inclusiveness in order to further promote the House’s legislative and regulatory role.

Adwan said the memo would also strengthen mutual cooperation and coordination, in addition to promoting the sustainable development goals.

He added that the memo would enhance institutional capacity in administrative, strategic, regulations and rules of conduct aspects.
