Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) announced Sunday a state of emergency following an oil leak in southwest of Kuwait, the company's spokesman said. 
KOC's Acting Deputy CEO for Administrative and Financial affairs Menahi Al-Enezi said in a press statement, carried by Kuwait news agency (KUNA), that the company's teams were at the scene of the leak and dealing with the situation in accordance with the relevant protocol.
