German luxury sports car producer Porsche said it has set its sights on a new target audience: Children. Specifically, Porsche said its new pedal-powered go-kart is for kids weighing no more than 110 pounds, the Los Angeles Times reported Monday. For kids on the go, the new Porsche go-kart is top shelf all the way. The sticker price for the muscle-and gravity-powered jalopy with the tubular steel frame is $900. In contrast, a new 918 Spyder hybrid Porsche sports car costs $845,000. As such, consider the go-kart luxury training wheels for big spenders of the future, the Times said.
