Distribute goods

As many as 350 fully-equipped refrigerator trucks were provided for youth to distribute goods nationwide, officials with the Social Fund for Development (SFD) said on Sunday.

This was announced during the meeting headed by Prime Minister Sherif Ismail and attended by ministers of planning, supply, social solidarity and investment, in addition to secretary general of the SFD and chief executive officer of the "Long Live Egypt Fund".

During the gathering, Ismail ordered accelerating the provision of fully-equipped refrigerator trucks to be used by young men to distribute commodities nationwide, Cabinet Spokesman Hossam Qawish said.

This will be done in collaboration with the SFD, the "Long Live Egypt Fund" and the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, the Egyptian premier added, according to Qawish.

Also, Ismail has pointed to the importance of this project as it will provide more job openings for youth and contribute to establishing further small and medium sized enterprises as well as supporting the food security system through the offering of food commodities to citizens nationwide at affordable prices, Qawish stressed.
