Australian stocks continued their sell-off on Friday, falling 2.05 percent at the open as fears of recession grip global markets. At 10:10 am (0010 GMT), the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 was down 81.4 points at 3,883.5 after Wall Street's Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 3.51 percent lower and some European bourses lost more than five percent. Markets continue to plunge after the US Federal Reserve's stark warning about the health of the American economy on Wednesday.
