Seoul - Yonhap
The trading volume of financial derivatives on the local bourse rose last year as increased volatility triggered by global uncertainties pulled up its demand, data showed Monday. The daily average trading volume of the derivatives such as futures jumped 6 percent on-year in 2011 to 1.58 million contracts, compared with 14.95 million contracts a year earlier, according to the data compiled by the Korea Exchange (KRX).
