The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes made gains at the end of Sunday's trading backed by share purchase operations by local, Arab and foreign investment institutions and funds.
The market capital gained about EGP 1.8 billion to hit 384.3 billion pounds after transactions worth EGP 600 million.
The EGX 30 benchmark index increased by 0.56 percent reaching 6,981.72 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased 0.68 percent to hit 353.43 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index also rose by 0.52 percent to close at 747.54 points.
