The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) won EGP 36 billion this week, the largest weekly gain in two years.
According to the bourse's weekly report, the EGX 30 benchmark index rose by 14.05 percent, recording 7,486 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 2.07 percent to hit 362 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index also rose by 6.61 percent to reach 784 points.
