Egypt topped the list of crop importing countries from Russia during the new agricultural season that began in July, 2015 and will end in June 30, 2016.
Egypt bought from Russia about 3.2 million tons of grains during the first half of the current season, an official source in the Russian Agriculture Ministry was quoted by Sputnik News Agency as saying on Sunday.
The Arab country imported about 22 percent of Russian wheat in December, 2015, the source noted.
