The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday trading with strong gains prompted by purchases of foreign investment funds.
The market capital hit 4.7 billion pounds today to close at EGP 715.3 billion.
The EGX 30 benchmark index upped 0.28 percent to reach 13,752 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) went up by 3.37 percent to 697,52 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index also increased 2.55 percent to close at 1594,41 points.
